3.5 stars.The first half of the book is a great mystery. However, the science fiction part that becomes important in the second half of the book was rather disappointing. As soon as it becomes clear what is going on, the mystery that sounds so awesome in the synopsis disappears completely. I would have given it just three stars, but the amazing first half deserves that extra half star.
