Como desees

Como desees - Anabel Botella What got my attention when I saw this book was the title, as The Princess Bride is one of my favourite films. I don't usually read romance, but the last sentence in the synopsis made the book become interesting. While I didn't find it to be more than average in the end, I don't regret reading it.

It wasn't bad and the mystery is great during the first half. However, the identity of the murderers becomes way too obvious about halfway through the book. Also, there are so many clear clues after that, that you'd have to be blind not to see who those two are. This was quite disappointing, especially after a great first half.

Something to keep in mind is that this is not just a romance novel. The murder plot is just as important as the love story. If you don't like gory thrillers and creepy mysteries, this book isn't for you. While the descriptions of the bodies and some scenes at the end (I'm leaving this intentionally vague, as revealing more about them would be a big spoiler) are not very detailed, they're the kind of things that some people would find disgusting.

I will edit the review later to add more things.
