El coleccionista de relojes extraordinarios

It’s a fantasy story, where fantasy and realistic elements are intertwined with help of secret portals to a parallel magical town. There are interesting plot twists that make you doubt the intentions of some characters, although in the case of a few of them -I’m thinking of one specifically, but I won’t say which one to avoid spoilers-, it’s a bit obvious for everyone but the main character that they’re hiding something and that they might be much more than they seem to be.
This book is a very fast read, but this doesn’t affect the development of the plot. However, it’s a bit simple for adults and the characters have some eye roll moments. They’re also a bit flat and I was never too interested in any of them, except for the bad guy. He was really interesting and I think that his story is one of the best parts of the book.

La historia es bonita y me gustó. Es una historia fantástica, donde elementos de fantasía se entrelazan con elementos de realidad con la ayuda de portales con los que se puede acceder a una ciudad mágica paralela. Hay algún giro inesperado interesante que hace que dudes de las intenciones de algunos personajes, aunque en el caso de alguno -estoy pensando en uno en particular, pero no voy a decir quién para evitar spoilers- sea un poco obvio para todos, excepto para el personaje principal, que está escondiendo algo y que puede que sea mucho más de lo que parece ser.
Es una lectura muy rápida, pero esto no afecta al desarrollo del argumento. Sin embargo, es un poco simple para adultos y los personajes tienen algunos momentos que hacen poner los ojos en blanco. También son un poco lineales y nunca me interesaron mucho, a excepción del malo. Él sí que era interesante y creo que su historia es una de las mejores partes del libro.
