Lo malo de este libro es que es bastante predecible, sobre todo si uno ha leído obras clásicas de misterio, y se puede saber quién es el asesino y sus motivos antes de llegar a la mitad. Sin embargo, hasta la última página queda la duda de si hay sólo un asesino, ya que el título, que es casi un pequeño spoiler si te imaginas a qué se puede referir, sugiere que pueda estar ocurriendo algo más siniestro. Es un libro que seguramente le gustará más a las personas que no hayan leído muchas obras de misterio.

Los personajes no llegaron a gustarme mucho y me parecieron bastante estereotipados. El único que no me pareció inaguantable, que es también el más interesante, acaba muriendo hacia el final. Según van quedando menos, se va averiguando más sobre ellos, pero siguen siendo bastante planos.

Lo mejor es la última página. Como intento evitar spoilers, no puedo decir qué pasa, pero los que hayan leído el libro sabrán a qué me refiero. Es un giro interesante e inesperado, porque hace que algo que hasta ese momento parecía completamente resuelto e irrelevante se convierta en algo mucho más importante. Además, me gustó mucho cómo están descritas las escenas. El autor consigue crear un ambiente con mucho suspense que hace que uno no pueda dejar de leer el libro para ver qué va a suceder, aunque esté seguro de quién es el asesino.

The bad thing is that the book was very predictable, especially if you have read classic mystery novels, and you can know who the murderer is and what their motives are before you have read half the book. However, there is still some doubt whether there is only one murderer until the last page, because the title, which is a small spoiler if you can imagine the reference, suggests that there could be something more sinister going on. It’s a book that people who haven’t read many mystery novels will enjoy more.

I never liked the characters very much and they seemed to be somewhat stereotyped. The only one who wasn’t completely annoying and who is also the most interesting one, ends up dead towards the end. As soon as there are fewer characters, we find out more about them, but they still remain quite flat.

The best part is the last page. As I’m trying to avoid spoilers, I can’t say what happens, but those who have read the book will know what I’m talking about. It’s a very interesting and unexpected plot twist, because it turns something that looked completely solved and irrelevant into something much more important. Also, I loved how the scenes are described. The author manages to create a very creepy environment that makes it difficult to stop reading the book to know what is going to happen, even when you are sure about the identity of the murderer.
